About MedActionPlan.com™

Recent studies indicate that up to half of all patients do not benefit optimally from their medication. Non-adherence plays a significant role. In response to the pressing need, Tim Peters formed the web-based group MedActionPlan.com, which uses technology to empower patients to be proactive in their healthcare.

Our Mission

To provide the healthcare industry with innovative resources that utilize cutting-edge technology and proven health literacy principles to empower patients to become active partners in their healthcare.

Our History

For over 25 years, Tim Peters has specialized in creating innovative health education programs that increase patient understanding about a health disorder or condition. Even with the global success of these programs Mr. Peters recognized that improving patient awareness was just the first step toward improving adherence. What was needed was a tool that allowed the healthcare provider to quickly create, document and print personalized medicine schedules for patients. Calling on many years of expertise, and ongoing partnerships with industry thought leaders, MedActionPlan.com was born. The first program was introduced in 2005.

Our Future

MedActionPlan applications for Organ Transplant, Antiretroviral Therapy, Anticoagulation, and Heart Failure are currently available online at no charge for qualified healthcare professionals. Additional versions of the MedActionPlan will soon be available for other important therapeutic categories, including:

  • Bone Marrow Transplant
  • Diabetes
  • Heart Failure
  • Oncology
  • Neurology
